 Keforal 500 mg, filmomhulde tabletten behoort tot de antibiotica en wel tot de cefalosporines (een bepaalde groep antibiotica).

Keforal 500 mg, filmomhulde tabletten is geïndiceerd voor de behandeling van de volgende tot matig ernstige infecties, indien veroorzaakt door voor cefalexine gevoelige micro-organismen:
 Infecties van de luchtwegen (Pharyngitis/tonsillitis)

 Buiten het ziekenhuis verkregen pneumonie

 Acute bronchitis

 Ongecompliceerde huid en weke delen infecties

 Urineweginfecties (Cystitis)
