1. Wat is Anastrozol Devatis en waarvoor wordt dit medicijn gebruikt*
Anastrozol Devatis bevat een stof die anastrozol wordt genoemd. Dit middel behoort tot een groep medicijnen die ‘aromataseremmers’ wordt genoemd. Anastrozol Devatis wordt gebruikt om borstkanker te behandelen bij vrouwen die in de overgang zijn geweest.
Dit middel werkt door de hoeveelheid van het hormoon oestrogeen, dat door uw lichaam wordt gemaakt, te verminderen. Het doet dat door het blokkeren van een enzym met de naam ‘aromatase’ (een natuurlijke stof in uw lichaam).
