1. Wat is Dexamytrex en waarvoor wordt dit middel gebruikt*
Dexamytrex oogzalf bevat het antibioticum gentamicine, dat bepaalde bacteriën doodt die infecties kunnen veroorzaken. Dexamytrex bevat ook dexamethason (een corticosteroïd) dat tegen de ontstekingsverschijnselen werkzaam is.
Dexamytrex oogzalf wordt door uw (oog)arts voorgeschreven ter voorkoming van een infectie en voor de behandeling van ontstekingsverschijnselen tengevolge van operaties aan het oog.
