WAT IS CODEÏNEFOSFAAT TEVA EN WAARVOOR WORDT DIT MIDDEL GEBRUIKT*
Geneesmiddelengroep
Dit product bevat codeïne. Codeïne behoort tot een groep geneesmiddelen, genaamd opioïde analgetica, waarvan de werking gericht is op pijnverlichting. Het kan alleen worden gebruikt of in combinatie met andere pijnstillers zoals paracetamol. Daarnaast behoort codeïne tot de groep van geneesmiddelen die de hoestprikkel dempen.
Gebruiken bij
- hoest
- de behandeling van lichte tot matige pijn.
Codeïne kan worden gebruikt bij kinderen ouder dan 12 jaar voor kortdurende verlichting van matige pijn die niet kan worden verlicht door andere pijnstillers zoals alleen paracetamol of alleen ibuprofen.
